'Border Incident' is an experimental short that uses archival material spanning several decades and geographies: from the early days of the Berlin Wall , to the border fortifications in Eastern Poland, the Southern United States and the State of Israel.
The title of this short is taken from a 1949 US film noir which was the first Hollywood production that openly portrayed the exploitation of Mexican immigrant workers at the hands of Americans within the context of a nascent agricultural capitalism.
